Abstraction text
Using the word ‘abstraction’, I created a stencil of the word using masking tape and covered the remaining paper in black paint. Once the masking tape was removed this created the first image below.
I was able to salvage the masking tape and stick it down onto a separate piece of paper , with some of the paint on the edges of the tape. I didn’t intend on having the text spread across two lines but I ran out of room.

The cows have been made up from text, from football magazine ‘FourFourTwo’. Ink has then been applied to the text and paper.
Lionel Messi collage
A collection of collages of Lionel Messi using text from a copy of the farmer’s weekly magazine. The collages have then been photocopied onto acetate and placed over the original collage. One of the collages is in colour while the other is in black and white.
