The brief for this one day workshop, with Graphic Designer Nick Scott, was to produce a visual response to the song ‘Don’t believe in me’ by indie rock band ‘The Cribs’. A maximum of two colours could be used in the design (white not a colour), with my colour choice of red and black giving an element of Russian Constructivism to the final design. The themes, in the song itself looked at conflict, death (final hours) and searching within.

A brief for my Graphic Communication course which was to produce a 12 paged magazine publication on an artist, which in my case was Robert Massin. The main focus of this brief was to get to grips with using a grid system for a double page spread, which would be printed by Magcloud.

So following on from the farm photograms I also produced this set of two football photograms featuring Nemanja Vidic and Wayne Rooney. This time the title or quote is farm related so running repairs refers to an injury and making hay while the sun shines refers to getting the job done by winning – in this case the Manchester derby.
